The revo stx is above all others in performace great feel wonderfull casting and lipprippin drag system I have fished the rest now I only use the best abu garcia revo stx is all you will find in my rod locker. great job team keep up the great work cant wait to try the new mgx. Thanks Russ.

I have been using four of these Revo STX since they first came on the
market. They have been everything I wanted in a quality reel. Never had a problem with any of them.
I fish 5 days a week and do over 50 tournaments a season and these have never failed to get the job done.

This is the second review of a Revo reel for me today, the other is the Premier. The STX is not the top of the line Revo but it is my "go to" Revo that I use the most. Like the Premier I can not find any faults with this reel. I have found that the Revo line so far is the most backlash free group of baitcasters on the market. I also plan on getting an SX but so far I think this is the best all around reel in the Revo class.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've grown up with spinning reels all my life and was scared to try something new and different. Well I went big and bought a Revo STX based on great reviews. I'm hooked! The quality is superb and ease of set-up on this reel was painless! Super-smooth casting and retreive! Yes, I had a couple of little backlashes here and there but I'm placing the baits with way more accuracy than I ever did before! Thanks Abu Garcia!

I own 6 Revo STX, 4 SX, 1 winch and will always use the Revo. The STX is an amazing reel, the smoothness and casting ability in this reel is by far the best out there. With the 10 stainless steel ball bearings in this reel makes it very smooth when casing and you can get some extra yardage on your cast. Also love the drag system on this reel, very efficient. But most of all, the weight of this reel is so light that you will not wear out your hands during an all day fishing trip.
