I was fishing at a local highway lake with my Pfleger bait caster and a guy was fishing next to me as we were talking we decided to trade bait casters I had never used a Revo before and I was very impressed with the ease of switching to the Revo from my President. It was very smooth and easy to cast and the retrieve was nice and fluid, no bites but fun to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This reel can throw anything from jigs, texas rigged craws, jerkbaits, and crankbaits with ease. Very easy to adjust, I can throw baits down to 1/8 oz with ease. I highly recommed this reel to any serious bass fisherman.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought a Revo STX hs rh retrieve to fish bottom contact baits like worms and jigs.I have it paired with a berkley series one rod and this setup works quite well for me.The casting is smooth.I have it rated at a 4 in that respect.I really like its size and shape as it fits my hand nicely when palming.The drag is quite smooth.I use this rod to fish for bass but hooked into a 13# striped bass and the runs the fish made were quite easy to control.The 7.1 gear ratio also allows me to get in more casts when fishing as I can bring in lots of line per crank.It is also nice to pull bass away from the heavy cover I fish in.
Paired the Revo STX 7:1:1 and a 7' MH Veritas rod. Reeling fish out of heavy cover is a breeze. I'm using 30# Fireline and pitching frogs right now and casting is smooth and easy...love this reel!
