The Revo STX is one of the best reels I've ever used. The 10 stainless steel ball bearings make for super smooth and super long casting right out of the box! I primarily bass fish but caught my largest walleye ever (about 6 lbs.) on the Revo STX this summer!!! I'd recommend this reel to anyone who likes to throw crankbaits, flip jigs, or even finesse fish with shakey heads, drop shots and senko's!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought my revo stx a few years back and have fished with it in saltwater since then. I have not had any problems with the reel.
I have fished with Abu Garcia reels from the old round ones all the way up to the new Revo models. I now have the Revo STX & SX models and they have to be the smoothest reels on the market. They fit in your hand like a glove and cast a country mile. You can cast in the wind with no birds nesting in the spool. I never have to cast hard with these reels just a flip of the rest and it goes right where I want it with no effort. If you want a quality built long lasting, smooth casting, fish catching, downright good looking reel, go get you a new Abu Garcia Revo enough said.

I have been using the Revo STX for 4-5 years now. I fish on average 2-3 days a week and I've never had one problem with this reel. I currently own 15 Revos and its nice to know i don't have to worry about any of my reels while fishing.
