I bought the high speed version for pitching and Flipping and was concerned that maybe the high gear ratio would be too much for the bigger fish. No Worries. It handles eveything I can give it. And the drag is as smooth as any I've ever used. Now I'd like to get one in a medium retrieve for crankbaits.
I would recommend this to a friend!

All of mine are the older style.The 7.1 are the perfect worm and jig reels in my opinion.Probably my favorite of the Revo line.

The revo STX is the best reel i have purchased. It casts a mile with no backlash. I use this reel for flippin and pitchin and it gets the job done with ease. The drag is so smooth and has the power to get the fish up and out the cover no problem. If u have the money to buy this reel dont look at any other in this price range cause this is the reel deal.

This has got to be the best all around reel out there. It will throw a mile and as smooth as silk. An the best thing about it is, it's a Abu Garcia, and that means it will last a life time.
