Bought two of these last year and two of another brand. Hands down, this is my favorite reel of all time. I need a couple more reels when I get the money, and I can't even allow myself to consider buying anything else. This is it for me! The Best of the Best! I double dog dare you to convince me otherwise.

Big Muskego pig!!!
I own 4 STX's and love them all. I can empty a spool of 65# braid with my frogging rod and I know if I get a hit WAY out there, the Revo drag is so strong, that fish is going to see my livewell. I skip my frogs with the STX's as well and NO back lashes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am an avid bass tournament angler who spends approx 140 days a year on the water. I am hard on equipment and to date own 10 of the STX reels and call them the best tournment grade reels at their price point I have ever used. light, durable, great casting......they do everything I ask on every outing....I have used other reels but have been replacing my quantums and Shimanos with the STXs...Good not be happier

Tie on a 3/4 oz Football Jig and you will be able to throw farther than any other reel. Revo STX and all Revo's throw farther than any other reel I have used. For structure fishing ledges and drop with jigs, worms, cranks, or spoons this is a must have tool!
