I learned to throw and fish with ABU Garcia open faced reels as a young boy. Some 30 years later, ABU Garcia reels are all I purchase and have tournament confidence in. I recently purchased my 7th STX to slowly replace my old 4600's. The STX reel is simply amazing. Incredibly light and fits in my hand better than any other reel on the market (including much higher priced reels). Thanks ABU Garcia for a quality product at an affordable price.
Customer Service - Purchased an STX off Ebay that had damage to the Mag Dial. Emailed customer service representative and found out the re-placement part was on backorder. Not knowing when the part would be available, the customer service representative removed the part I needed from a new reel and sent it to me. That kind of support is amazing. I don't know if other reel companies would go that far to take care of their customers or not, but I am not willing to take that chance. I am an ABU Garcia customer for life!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased one of these reels last year and fell in love. It casts like a dream, and reels in baits smoother than a hot knife through butter. Pulled in a 22lb Musky on it, along with a Veritas rod, and had absolutely no problems because of the 24lbs of drag force. After that, the reel still cast and reeled like a dream. Any other reel would probably have been damaged after that. Can't wait too get a couple more!!

I have purchased several Revo STX's since '08 and all I can say is wow. These reels can take a beating and still work like new. The casting distance is fenominal. I just took my reels in for service to get them cleaned. The guy doing the cleaning said he had never seen reels that were 3yrs old look so good inside. He asked me how much I use these things and I told him atleast 100 days a year. He was amazed, the only thing he needed to do was clean and oil them. If this doesn't tell you how well built these things are, I don't know what will. I will purchase Revo's for years to come, thanks Abu Garcia.
