Used the REVO SX all summer long. Never fail on me while catching barracudas. This reel has power for a little reel. Great Reel for a great price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

You can spend more for a reel and get better performance but the Revo SX is by far an excellent reel for the money. I have bought more expensive reels before and the Revo SX out performs the more expensive reels. It is a very smooth casting reel and you can adjust the drag and everything else you need to adjust just about as fast as you can tie on a different lure. I have bought Quantum, Bass Pro Shop and a couple other different brands of reels and I don't think I'll buy anything else but Abu Garcia in the future. If you don't want to spend a whole lot a money the SX is the way to go.

The Revo SX is the best performing low-profile baitcaster on the market for under $200. The combination of ergonomics, performance and appearance puts this reel in the bracket of higher priced reels for a fraction of the cost. If your looking to get the most of your money, your search has ended with the Revo SX.

I have used many Garcia reels through the years. My mainstay was the 4600 C3 and C4 workhorse. I upgraded to the Revo SX last year and found that the reel had superior casting distance and drag system. This is the best reel I have in my rod box and plan to buy more of the same. I highly recommend this reel to anyone who is serious about their fishing.
