Paired the reel on a st croix rod. Throws amazing and very smooth. I have two of these now and just purchased a revo stx to compare. Not much difference btw them. What can I say I'm a Abu Garcia fan when it comes to reels. Only issue I had was, I set the hook on a big fish in pads and messed the drag up. So I boxed it up and sent it to Abu Garcia to get fixed. Can't wait till I hopefully get it back! Thanks for the amazing equipment you have been putting out. you have saved me on numerous occasions in tournaments!

11 lb largemouth on Revo SX with berkley100% 15 lb floro
By far the best reel I've used in years. As a guide on Kentucky lake and throwing big jigs and deep running cranks and 1 1/4 oz swim baits as well as a tournament angler this reel has held up far more than any other I've used. I have some of thease for 5 and 6 years and just had the first one cleaned and a bearing put in. If you are looking for a reel that will work when you want it to the revo is it. The best value for the money.

I love this reel. Casts smooth, looks great and is easy to use. Very light and links up with any rod. Buy this reel you will not be disappointed.
