I have completely switched to the revo reels. They have a low profile which I find to be very comfortable and they cast very smoothly. Would recommend this reel to fun and competitive fisherman alike.

I've used this reel for both inshore and freshwater fishing. And it has performed well in both areas. It is a great reel for most types of fishing!

I own 1 Revo S and 1 Revo SX. The SX is so much smoother and I have not had any back lashes. I have had a few with the Revo S, but once I get it tuned into my lure the problem goes away. The SX is easier to tune into my lure for cast-ability. I plan on buying a Revo STX next and compare products further. Thank you for great products. Roi Weber

Nice Smallie caught on Lake Champlain NY last year using a Revo SX Reel
I'm truly amazed with the Revo SX reels. The last 5 years I was a believer in Quantum Reels being the best that was out there. I explained to my best fishing buddy the advantages of using baitcasters over spinning reels, so he gave my baitcasters a try for the season. This last spring he decided to buy his own set and purchased a REVO SX matched with a 7' Vendetta medium action rod for crank baits, instead of any of the Quantum model reels I had. It didn't take long for me to realized the difference in performance, since he was out casting me easily 10'+. He told me to give it a try and I didn't give his reel back for the rest of the day. The smoothness of the gears and casting distance of this reel is noticeably superior compared to all the Quantum reels. I highly recommend these Revo SX and STX reels and they worth every penny (best of all you can save $25 on each of them right now!). I've a couple REVO STX reels with the new REVO Premier Spinning Reel on there way to use for this up coming season.
