I own 2 of the older style and cant find a thing wrong with them.They have held up great.

I really like this reel. It casts farther than any other reel I have ever owned. I really like the powerful drag. It is very smooth. The best part is it is affordable.

I purchased 2 Revos for my trip to Lake Toho just for the purpose of flipping a Berkley craw in the heavy grass and casting one of the local favorites a (skinny dipper). The reel is so smooth it allowed me to flip and cast with ease all day long. When your paired with a Pro and he drops the power pole you want to be able to make as many casts as possible before he moves to the next spot and the Revo was able to preform.
I would recommend this to a friend!
