Let me just say that I have fished Abu Garcia for several years now and I am very impressed with this one. The reel is so smooth and casts pretty far. I fish in ponds mostly so I have to clean the reel more frequently than if I were fishing in a lake, but if you take care of your reel and clean it properly then it should last you a lifetime. I am going to purchase the revo premier next and pair it with a St Croix avid rod for more bass fishing and maybe some pike in the future. Anyway, great reel and I recommend it 100 percent.

Best baitcaster I've ever owned. I love the the ergonomics, very light and it does exactly what it was designed to do. Also, it's mounted on a Vendetta. I do have a question if I may: Mono line capacity specs, it's for 12 Lbs. Is this the Min. or Max? Can I go higher than 12 Lbs?
I will definitely purchase more reels and rods from Abu Garcia.

I picked one of these up yesterday along with the 7' micro guide veritas, and it is the smoothest reel I have. It goes great with the veritas, you can feel every pebble on the bottom!
