Hi all, I just started this year with jerbaits and bought me this Revo S. A nice reel with no fancy stuff just a nice reel to get it going. And I also caught some pike. I love the reel but probably will also buy the Revo Toro with a more heavy jerkbaitrod.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I think AG has a great thing going with the Revo series. The Revo S was a gift, and I love it so much I now have two. Very smooth, backlash resistant (especially for me) and casts a country mile. Everything needed in an entry level reel is here. If you are buying the $50-$75 so-so reels, STOP IT and get your hands on one of these Revo reels. You won't be dissapointed.

I picked up this reel to teach my girlfriend to use a baitcaster with and was pleasantly surprised. It feels good in the hand and the drag system has held up to some big Coho salmon & steelhead. I like that i cast very light weights with this reel without any major issues. Very comparable to the curado 200 series reel with a better price point.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best reel i have ever used. iv used diawa flueger and quantam reels in the same price range and this is the best reel by far. casts smooth and cranks the fish in with ease
