These are super smooth and great casting reels, but only for a while. I have had a couple of these in the past and after about two months, the pawl and worm gear needed to be replaced. When I called to order the parts, they were back ordered and took over a month to become available. Spend the extra money and get the STX. The STX is the best of the Revo lineup IMO.
I own 2 Revo S and 1 Revo Premier and absolutely love them all. They are both very smooth and cast a mile. It is hard to pick between them when I am fishing. I recommend them both and look forward to trying the MGX very soon.

I have 4 of these reels and have found nothing better for skipping docks.Don't have the backlash issues as with other reels and drag is very smooth. Also use it for flipping weeds and bushes- great reel. Easy to set drag and when needed easy to clean. This is by far a great purchase
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is by far one of the bet reels out there for the price. It easily out-performs Shimano Curado and all other over priced reels, I love it I have 3

Bought 2 of these left hand retrieve.They worked beautiful for about a month then they started to scream real bad.Lost alot of casting distance.Took the reels apart and completely cleaned them and they are still doing it.Very disappointed for a brand new reels you should have no trouble what so ever.Looks like I lost $260.00 down the drain.
