I have purchased 2 Revo s reels and could not be happier!!!!! I matched 1 with a Abu Garcia Vengeance 7ft heavy bait casting rod along with 50 lb braid for flipping and pitching for toads in heavy cover!!!! The second Revo s is matched with a 6 foot 6 inch Abu Garcia Vendetta medium heavy bait casting rod along with 12 lb fluorocarbon for football head jigs in deep clear water!!!! These 2 combos are deadly and would recommend them to anyone!!!!!! The 24 lb drag system is sick and will bring any size fish out of the thickest cover!!!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased this reel last year and i have used it on every fishing trip i have made since (about 30 or 40 times). It works great and is actually one of my favorite reels. I picked up a REVO SX last week and im excited to try it out this weekend on the lake, but i will never put my S away completely. It will be right there with me on the boat until it falls apart (which from the quality should be many years from now). While i was waiting to purchase my SX i actually spoke with a gentleman at BassPro Shops and he was debating between the S and another unnamed brand baitcaster. I shared my experiences and bragged about this reel so heavily that he purchased it along with the same rod combo that i use. I would and definitely will recommend this reel again. All my reels are Abu Garcia, and it will stay that way.

The Revo S is the smoothest and quietest baitcasting reel that I have used. The quality of this reel for the price is extraordinary and by far out-performs other reels in it's price range that I have tried. After considering several other reels, I could not be happier with my choice to purchase the Revo S.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the first baitcaster that I bought and used. I was always a spinning reel person until I tried this out. It was so much easier to cast all day when using spinners and crankbaits. I would recommend to anyone that is wanting to be able to fish longer without hands cramping up from the spinning combo, you can cast this all day.
