I have several Revo's that have withstood over a year of punishment from 40lbs + Redfish and being in saltwater. They are holding up better than any of my other reels that are made for saltwater. The drag is one of the best on the market. A 40lbs+ Redfish on 12lbs test will smoke most reels. I had a Red spool me twice and the drag never failed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I agree I have Abu Since I was Old Enough To Hold a Rod... And Now Im Using the revo Series And I Must say I'm Impressed On How smooth They are And Just all Out proformance!! I fish Mostly Saltwater and Big Reds and Specks Is What We Do Down Here... And I Must admit Since No one could Officially Give me peace of Mind If The revos Could Handle saltwater I Just Decided to Do a Little Experimenting On My Own... 125 Trips Later The Revo S Is Still Standing With Guide Pin Problems from all the Stress... and I have Broken 3 Varitas Rods On Big Reds But Am Still Very Pleased and Still Loyal... The Reels Are OUTSTANDING!! The Rods Might not Be so eager To cross over from Fresh to salt (Varitas)... ABU FOR LIFE! .,.. Tried To Load Pics But Pixels Were to big..

i fish alot all saltwater if this reel can make it thought a mounth of my using it its a winner

This reel is amazing I've used every reel out there and the drag is like no other, I was impressed on how well this thing could handle the monster fish i threw at it!!!from stripper fishing on the river to the bass at the lake this has to be the best reel I've used to date!
I would recommend this to a friend!

First cast i knew that i would be a Revo user for life. The smoothest cast and retrieve i have experienced in a reel. I love the low profile look and feel, and have literally fished all day without hand fatigue. The 6:4:1 are great for an all purpose setup for the shore fisherman and will haul most fish in with ease. For those who fish situation specific, this reel would be a great addition to any multiple rod and reel setup.
