I have this reel and Revo STX and Winch on the way. You cant go wrong with these. Its fun to set the reel brakes and make it work for you. I have it paired up with a 7' veritas. I love this set up, just talking about it makes me want to go fish now.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This was my first baitcaster, I put 40 lb braid on it and I have not looked back. I dont want anything to do with the spinning setup I have and I am looking for another reel like this. its smooth and very comfortable. I have all the brakes set and I can still get it out th where I need. as I get more comfortable I plan on taking some of the brakes off. I advise anyone who doesnt have a baitcaster to make this their first one, for the price its a great deal.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I picked up the Orra SX with a 7' XPS rod from Basspro Shop. The reel feels really good when I cast it. I did have one issue with the reel. When I 1st got the reel it would backlash on me a lot. I went online to see if anyone else had this issues. I found a video of a guy who had the same issue and all he did was clean the cover over the break system. Once I did this the backlashing stopped. Now I only backlash it when I mess up! :P The feel of the reel in my hand is great. My 1st fish I caught with this reel was a 5lb bass and the gears felt great when i was reeling him in. As far as maintenance goes it was pretty easy. I loved the reel and I know I will be getting another one sometime soon.

Recently l bought the orra sx combo at my sporting goods store they had them on sale.Making a decision between the Orra sx or Shimano Curado,the Orra was smoother than the curado and felt more precise.The very next day while out fishing,set up of the clutch didn't take long,by a dozen casts.While fishing around brigde footings l was able to get within 12 inches,talk about precise casting.Currently l'm running Power Pro 20lb line.Great feedback from this set up.
