I needed a new reel when i was going to lake Ontario this summer.I needed a high performance reel that would take alot of fish, that was a good price and was really good.well it turns out that this reel works great i absolutley love it.I wanted an abu because i had the black max and love it.it was amazing, so smooth.i recommend this reel to any one.I love it.i have fished for a while this reel is amazing.get today.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I ordered the left handed model online as i could not find one in my local wal mart, being a lifelong spin caster, left hand retrieve is more natural for me even though I'm right handed. After some adjustment to type of lures i was throwing learning to cast far and accurate was a breeze, way easier than i thought it would be. Love this reel. I paired it with a 7ft mh vendetta rod, 30lb braided firewire and fluorocarbon leader. had about three minor backlash incidents due to wind during my six hours out today. great rod and reel. Will be switching over my fishing arsenal with various baitcaster setups in the near future. First time abu garcia user...now I'm hooked for life.

This reel is excellent i bought it a while ago, and it’s still flawless. I matched it or with a 7ft MH Gander Mountain rod and it’s my go to for everything. I bought it mainly for flipping and pitching. I also own a Black Max, I have had it for 4 years still no problem. My cousin just bought the Silver Max and he’s enjoying it. Defiantly will be shopping in the Abu Garcia family for my next reel.
this reel is one 9 garcia reels that I own. I have 2 pro max's,2 5600ws, 2c-4s, 1 revos, 1 c-5 mag, 1 xlt low profile, and of all these reels Ilike the pro max the best. But I still use a 5600 for my worm reel, but use the pre max for everthing else.this one of the most verstal reels I have ever used.

I now have completed my 'MAX' collection with the ProMax2. I use this real with plastic worms and topwater lures and love it! I use this reel daily along with my black and silver max's. I paired my promax up with the new vendetta rod and WOW! I would recommend this real to people who are experienced with baitcasters with no questions asked. Great Job Abu, keep up the great work and I will keep buying your products, best gear for the $$$.
