Fall is the best time
I have purchased another C4 and use it exclusively for muskies. It functioned very well in the rain and snow this year. We can not afford ANY equipment failures as you only get one chance for the big boys. The C4 has always come through. It is easy to maintain and truly functions without issues. Great reel!
I would recommend this to a friend!

very good little reel, use as a multipurpose reel trolling, casting, bottom fishing etc. this is my thrird abu garcia reel, biggest fish that was caught with this reel a sailfish about 85 lbs.

Often wonder if I can place more 30lbs get on these reels as Abu Garcia lists only up to 30lbs on there reels

C4 6600 is such a versatile reel...i use it for casting for muskies and also for trolling....either application is perfect for this reel . I have it spooled with 65lb test braid, which makes casting simple and able to do all day long. My first musky with this reel was a 38in..and was no problem for the reel. Its an awesome reel i recommend all musky fisherman or women to have one of these in your arsenal. I have also asked for another for Christmas.

My C4 is the most reliable reel i own i spooled mine up with 50 poound braid and put it on a 7,6 heavy rod... that setup can do anything i use mine to flip and throw frogs for bass in the thickest slop in florida, i also do alot of saltwater fishing with mine ive caught everything from tarpon, giant snook, bull reds, and big gag grouper on it. i couldnt ask for a more dependable reel for the price!
