This is a solid musky reel. The C4 has plenty of speed for fast retrieves, but lacks in drag power. The drag does slip slightly, but I have not lost a fish due to this. While this reels handles most lures I throw, it dogs when throwing big double bladed bucktails. The best feature of the C4 is the casting performance. I can throw small bucktails with no problems and bigger topwaters a mile. Maintenance is a breeze. This is a simple design that will stand the test of time.

I use this reel as an all around reel for both bass and fishing bottom bouncers for walleyes. I have used it to pitch small topwater baits as well as bottom bouncers up to 6oz and never had a hiccup.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This reel is the best reel I own.The ease of cast is like no other.The fight of this dawg is superb to say the least.From rivers to lakes to large reservoirs to the ocean.This reel stands up to the test.I will buy another because just like the layes potato chips ...... You can't stop at just one.
