i have several of these as well as several c3's. Love them all but the c4 seems to be a better caster. I just taught a half dozen boyscouts how to baitcast with this reel and they were all casting well in just a few casts. Easy to adjust, very smooth, and a high gear ratio make this reel hard to beat. And you don't have to break the bank. What's not to love?
I would recommend this to a friend!

Got the 4600 reel. Best reel for my kayak fishing. Fits good and secure in my hand. I caught alot big fish with this reel and never had a problem. The casting on this reel is incredible. Real easy to use and set up. For inshore fishing 4600C4 the way to go. IMO.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have 3 Abu's 5601C4,5601CB and a 6601CB. I am a die hard ESOX angler. My reels take a beating. They are SMOOTH all the way around.I have had these reels for over 5 years.I have even used these reels on salt water trips.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought a 4600c4 off a buddy for $20. The handle was missing the nut that holds it on. I replaced it, cleaned, and lubricated the reel. It works like a dream. It casts very far for me with rare backlashes. I have caught several good catfish, caught several slabs, and a few nice bass on it. Very easy to do maintenance on it.
