The Abumatic 276i spinning reel is superior as it makes it so easy to cast and catch fish. I would recommend this product for both the novice and expert fisherman. This reel spins easily and is wonderful!

Last year while fishing in a high mountain lake with my Diawa spinning reel, I felt that I had snagged the bootm. But aas I was pulling my line started going in really weird directions. My mind raced but as the leader broke the service I found myself the pround new ower of a underspin Abu Garcia reel.and fishing rod. I took the reel and rod home did a major cleaning of the reel and have been using it ever since in the same lake I found it, with absolutely no problems with it. What a find in both the reel and something that was so simple to clean, re-line and use over and over with no problems.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am an avid fisherwoman who had the great fortune of having a father who began taking me fishing at a very young age. I fell in love with fishing and cherished the precious time that we could spend together while fishing. I am committed to passing on that love of fishing to kids. I have a 3 year old great nephew, Cannon Levi, that I purchased the Abu Garcia Underspin Spin Cast reel for, as a Christmas present this past year. I wanted him to have a real rod and reel that he was able to operate and use himself. So, I selected the Abumatic 276i Underspin as his gift. He was beside himself with excitement! We finally had a warm enough day this past January to fish. I took Cannon to a local lake and showed him a couple of times how to operate and cast his new rod and reel. He was able "cast like a pro" and better yet....within minutes he had "FISH ON"! The picture of him catching his first Largemouth Bass is a picture of sheer joy on this 3 year old little boys face. Thanks Abu Garcia for making products that make passing on the love of fishing a breeze! So simple, even a baby can catch fish! But....more importantly....another great deposit in the fishing "memory bank". Pass it on.......
