I purchase this rod because its very light weight. I have catch lots of big reds and big sea trouts. Its one of the strongest light weight rods I have. I can be casting all day with this rod and not get tire. The only thing that I don't like is the grip handle and bottom but cap are black. All the time when I get back after my fishing trip my shirt gets stain with the black and my fishing gloves as well. It so bad that I had to put some plastic tape around the grip and the bottom buttcap because the stain it so bad that I hate it. I hope you can give me an advice as how can stop this rod from staining my shirts. I have the spining 7" foot light medium rod. Some comments say that they break but mine its very strong and so far it has done a good job fighting the fish.

I have 2 spinning rods, both 6'6" with 1 being mh & 1 being a med. I have 2 micro 7'mh and a winch 7' series. All are paired with Abu reels. These rods are every bit as sensitive & light as my Duckett rods are, but cost less. The eyes are a little bigger than my Ducketts but work great. I love the Texas rig keeper, especially since I use soft plastics a lot. The rods handle perfectly & since I began using them, I have not finished out of the top ten in my club as a non boater at that. I just wish the micro series would expand to a few more lengths & actions. I completely trust my Veritas rods & Revo reels!

This is a great rod! It has the backbone to handle northern pike and the sensitivity to detect the slightest bites from finicky eaters. I would buy this rod over and over without a doubt! Looking for a great that handles a beating this is what your looking for.

The 6 ft 9 inch Medium Light Spinning Rod is excellent for fishing finesse worms, like either 4.5 inch Robo worms or 5 inch Thin Senkos on #2 Owner twist lock hooks with a tiny cone head weight used for fly tying just to give it a bit more momentum to cut through the breezes. The rod is very light weight for comfortable casting throughout the day and sensitive enough to detect the lightest take-up with braid main line and mono leader. Its adequate hook setting power was proven when I landed a 9 pound 12 ounce largemouth bass last summer.
