I purchased the 7' M-F micro guide trigger rod last weekend. This product delivers a ton of great features for it's price point. First, I can't say enough about how light it is. This rod paired with my current reel #under 5.9 oz# totals less weight than a can of soda at 11.3 oz. I threw lipless cranks and spinnerbaits all day and never had the first sign of fatigue. Second, the sensitivity is through the roof. I could feel fish not only hit my bait but had a pre strike sensation that I can't really describe. It felt like a disturbance in the water column before the fish hit. Great product at a great price point!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I recently bought this rod and loved every bit of it while it lasted, I took it to a fishing tourney and about 1 hour into it the tourney the rod snapped in half while reeling in a fish, the sad thing was the fish was not even that big it just stinks cause the rod snapped in half and now I am out a hundred bucks. I liked the rod and the feel it had, it is just hard to swallow.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my knew veritas rod! It is definately the best rod I have ever bought for bass fishin!

I bought this rod as a stop gap to fill a need i had fishing locally for yellowbelly & bass with a lighter rod . Every so often I would hook onto a larger cod & would get into trouble in tight quarters! Not wanting to fork out to much I got a Veritas & have found myself reaching for this rod more often than not ! Its light & sensitive enough to cast small poppers , then its also beefy enough to flog huge plugs all day without getting saw . Cant say enough !!!!
