Since Veritas means "the truth" in Latin I felt it was a good title, anyway on to the review. Before I owned any Abu Garcia rods I had a rod that had been made by my grandfather and a academy brand cheap one and while they were decent enough they just didn't cut it for me. Last year I was on my college bass fishing team and during the semester we had various practices at a private lake to prepare for tournaments and during the first times we practiced at the lake, no matter how hard I tried I missed so many nice fish due to my rods having not enough backbone, so after I had had enough I started to research various rods to see which one would be best for me. I finally decided on a Veritas 7 foot heavy action and was quite pleased with how it felt combined with my Ambassador C4 6600. Well the day of our last practice finally came around and I was nervous that my rod might snap due to reading some reviews of others, however that was not the case. From the moment we got on the water and I hooked into a 4 pounder on one of my first casts I knew the day would be special. It would be on this day where I would see how well the Veritas performed on the number of fish we caught that day, It held up to not one, not two, but three 7 pounders that day and I felt right away, oh yeah 100$ for this rod, I totally got my moneys worth already. If your in the market for a rod with lots of backbone and yet want one that seems to weight nearly nothing, The Veritas is definitely a rod worth looking into, you won't regret it, trust me.

I HAVE FOUR OF THESE RODS. 2 7'6"MH THAT WORK GREAT FOR FLIPPING AND LIGHT CAROLINA RIGGING. A 7' M THAT I USE FOR CRANKIN' AND TOPWATER BAITS. A 7' H THAT IS GREAT FOR PITCHIN' AND PUNCHIN GRASS. THESE RODS ARE FANTASTIC. COUPLE IT WITH A REVO OF YOUR CHOICE AND YOU HAVE AN OUTFIT FOR A LIFETIME. AND A GREAT COMPANY THAT BACKS WHAT THEY SALE.

this is honestly a pleasure to fish with i have the 7'3" for flipping light plastics and you just feel everything i have it paired with a revo s and it is super light

This rod is excellent for spinnerbaits. It has good action, makes accurate casts, and has enough backbone for a good hook set. The only reason I did not give five stars is because the reel seat does not fit tight with REVO STX.

In South Korea, without access to easy fishing rods
Veritas nano-rods in South Korea I wish I come and see.
Please help us, and usually experience:
Due to my lack of experience but the rod
You do not know how far you can hunt.
My hope with this rod if you can be up to amber jack.
