Anything good enough for Ike is more than good enough for me!! Love these rods, I currently own 3 of them, 1 spinning and 2 casting. The action seems a little stiffer than other lines of rods but it is not a problem for me, I use my 7' med for pitching creature baits and man it has one heck of a backbone when you set the hook! Was using a different brand but just didn't feel solid on hook set and the Veritas is a BEAST! LOVE IT! I own 3 Veritas and 3 Vendettas and could not see myself happier with any other brand!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Birthday Present Ever!
I got this rod as a birthday present back in February and I was itching to try it for a few months until the weather broke. Let me tell you.... it was worth the wait! This rod is as sensitive as they come. Paired with fluorocarbon.... the sensitivity of this rod makes a bluegill feels like a bass! The tip has a real nice action and the exposed reel seat is perfection. The other great thing about the Veritas is its lightweight build. I was concerned that it would be easily broken because of how light it is, but I was wrong. Abu Garcia has done it again!
I would recommend this to a friend!

i love these rods i own 4 veritas 2-7'3'' mh and 2-7'6'' mh, i cant get over how sensitive, durable and light, i have all these rods except 1 paired with Skeet Reese revos the other is not an Abu but i am saving for the new 7.9 revo mgx ohhh baby, the 2-7'3'' i use for jigs, finesse to 1/2 oz i can feel every pebble, it really is amazing, i also use it for texas rigged plastics, spinnerbaits and chatterbaits are unbelievable. Now the 7'6'' mh i LOVE for frogs and carolina rig, and bigger jigs 1/2- 1 1/2 oz, now this rod is noticably stiffer than the 7'3'' mh, more like a heavy but it is awesome for getting the bass out of the nastiest stuff out there, imo

I recently purchased the Veritas 6'6" med heavy spinning rod. I must say that I am 100% impressed with it. I've owned much more expensive pieces and most of them don't even compare to this thing.....it's an awesome piece of hardware.
