I recently matched the 6'9" Veritas with a Revo Premier Spinning Reel and love it. Its got plenty of sensitivity to pick up the little bumps and enough backbone to bring the fish on the deck. Being able to balance the rod to the reel is a plus too. Great rod!
i have the 6'6 m/xf and the 6'9ml/xf both have been great. excellent power lightweight and sensitive cant be beat for $100. will be buying more.
I would recommend this to a friend!

broken spinning rod tip
i have had 2 of these rods a 7ft MH casting and a 7ft M spinning rod. I love the look of the rod and the sensitivity is great, but the strength is terrible. i had the casting rod for a couple of days, when i went to set the hook it broke about 1ft down. the spinning rod broke at the tip. i recently was at Bass Pro Shops and i was talking to a employee and i told him what happened. he said that the Veriats rod has a defect. i hope this is not true cause i still love the rods.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Veritas does not have a defect. The rod may have been nicked at retail or during shipping which can cause a break. As with all high modulus graphite rods, they are susceptible to breakage after that happens as it creates a weak point in the rod. The NanoTechnology used in the rod construction does provide 2.5 times the break strength of a rod with the same wall thickness and grade of high quality graphite.

By far the best rod I've ever owned it's light weight making it easy to fish with all day. It's also super sensitive I feel every thing from bites to changes in the lake bottom. Oh ya and it wont break the bank either.
