What can I say other than I've been very happy with my Veritas purchase! I'm not sure if there's a better rod for your dollar. I have the Shimano Crucial rod (I.e. which I also love), but it is a bit more expensive than the Veritas line in most retail stores. I wasn't so sure about the White color of the rods, but now I actually prefer it. Makes it easy to spot the rod if you set it down on a bank or lean it up against a bush. Not to mention if you ever dropped it into the drink - knock on wood...
I would recommend this to a friend!

i have had the rod for a couple weeks now and have caught a bunch of fish but today during a tournament i was pulling a 2 pounder in the boat and it snapped 3 eyes down..
I would recommend this to a friend!

I recently bought 4 Veritas rods, along with a few Vendetta's, and I am impressed. As I am coming into the tournament scene, I like to try different rods of the veritas caliber and see which brand I like best. Unfortunately for the Abu Garcia rods, I also bought a St. Croix Mojo Bass rod, and I believe that it is in fact built with far more quality and craftsmanship. So all in all, though I am a bit more partial to the Mojo Bass, I still would certainly reccomend a Veritas to a friend. Especially for spinning rod/finesse applications.
I would recommend this to a friend!

this is one of the best rods i own and i didnt have to spend a lot to get it. im not saying thats it preforms like a cheap rod though. i have other more expensive rods that this outpreforms. its extremely sensitive and lightweight. great with almost any reel.
