I owned this rod 2 months bought brand new, first big 5lber Large Mouth and it snapped. Good warranty, got a new one but hope Abu makes it right for all the trouble. Bass Pro was no big help.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Abu Garcia has come a long way into the reel industry now that they have entered the rod industry, they're amazing. I bought the Veritas 7" MH. The lightness of the rod is insane, it doesn't wear me out. The rod is very powerful but sensitive at the tip. With this rod you can feel everything your lure comes in contact with. I believe this rod would be excellent for finesse fishing because of its sensitive tip, you can feel even the most finicky strikes. Thanks Abu Garcia for making an amazing rod! Great looks too.

My first purchase of a rod other then something for 15 bucks from wal-mart. I have never felt better about a rod, I feel so much more action with my lures on this rod that I have never felt before and not to forget about the sensitivity of the bass biting. Great rod I will be getting one for my spinning reel as well!

Veritas Jig fish
These are the best rods I have ever had in my hand!! I still can't believe they are priced under $100.00. I have never found a heavy action rod that i thought I could fish all day and be confident I could feel every bite. This is the lightest most sensitive rod in my arsenal now. I just went out last weekend and added a medium heavy to go along with the heavy action rod. I'm sure after I use them this spring I will be replacing more!!!!!!
I may have to give the Revo's a try now if they are half as good I will be switching To Abu Garcia for life!!!!
