Bought my first veritas a few months ago because of affordable price and quality components in rods.My 1st rod had a loose broken guide insert. Shop replaced immediately. I loved the rod after first use very sensitive, durable rod and have since bought 4 more. They are not a G Loomis, or Cumara, but you can buy two or three veritas for the price of one of those other high priced rods. They are a great value and a quality component built rod for the price. Highly recommend this rod.

As they say, "the TRUTH will set you free" and that is exactly what the Veritas does -- by far the best rod in the Abu Garcia line up!
Currently, I have three Veritas rods in my stable that are my "go-to" sticks when out on the water -- the 6'6" M spinning rod, the 7'0" M casting, and 7'3" MH casting rod. I assure you there will be more!
The rods are sharp looking -- there is no mistaking you are throwing a Veritas as the BMW Alpine White gleams brightly in your hands. What is even better is you can look good all day long because the EVA handles feel great and are extremely light in your hands which help you to fish without fatiguing.
Beyond the good looks, this rod has it all -- its nicely balanced, extremely sensitive and has great backbone to it to set the hook and wrestle fish out of the thickest of cover.
The Veritas performs well above its pricepoint and is one of the best values on the market.
Just as the name suggests...I speak the Veritas!

I received my veritas 6' 6" medium rod for Christmas. I've used it so far this cold winter for stripers at lake lanier it's has the best sensitivity I have ever experienced I would tell everyone to give it a try, you will like it. Tommy does

I love the look and feel of the Spinning rod i bought !!! I compared the weight and action to many of the more expensive brands in the store and none came close to the feel of this one. Using the rod is just a pleasure and is not at all tiring after a full days fishing !!! I would highly recommend it to any avid fishermen.
