I have used the toro winch in both the bay and surf the slower gear ratio gives you more than enough power to land the stronger spices such redfish and jacks the drag is something you have to experience just to see how smooth it is. Combined with a quality braid this reel is undefeatable
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm a fairly fast fisherman by nature and the Revo winch not only allows me to slow down, but it gives me the confidence that when I do hook up I can put the fish in the boat. The drag system is outstanding for those big fish and casting is extremely smoothe. I love the handle and the overall feel of the reel in my hand. But then again, most of my other reels are the STX reels so I'm a big fan.
I have four of these reals we fish for catfish ,dont want any one with me to have problems casting or not being able to get there fish in .I give a crash corse on casting befour leaving the dock most pepole cath on right away the others usually take about 10 cast when hooking a big fish it reals smoth and easey .making it easy for my older fishermen to handle
I already used a revo toro winch 61, the muskie unbelievable reel. But some people say this RT Winch was a bad product and its only add some useless features for attraction the customer. But they were wrong, all the featured was supporting each other and make this reel become a great reel. The Synchronized TiN Coated Levelwind System its really help us to keep our braid/mono in good condition because its can move following the line out. The greatest feature was the line capacities that almost the same with a 8000size spinning reel with only a half weight. Many people say if we want a bigger spool why we didn't look for a round profile that more cheaper than this reel. I think that was a big mistake because a round profile is not a low profile and don't you ever compare between both type of reel. You must feel this reel when you catch a big muskie. Just try this by your self, and feels the different.

can u use this reel at the sea??? i was planning to buy this reel for going out to the sea.
