I purchased this rod about a month and a half ago I have been out 5 times with this rod. first let me say I believe its the best rod under $100 you can purchase. I was very impressed with the feel and action of the rod. On my 5th time taking the rod out I had a smallmouth bass hooked was still in the water and the rod barely barely bent snapped between the second and the third guide. I couldnt believe it, I've never had a rod snap like that. Clean break right above third guide.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I started fishing seriously this year and tried other company. So far the Vendetta rod is the best value for someone that want to start fishing and want to have a product that doesn't ruin him and is tough enough for a beginner. When your unexperience and you've got a 26inch pike going under the boat you need a rod that will forgive you, and trust me Vendetta does. You'll see on the pictures the little fellow who wanted to broke it and did not.
I currently own 3 Vendetta's ranging from 6' 6" medium to 7' medium heavy. They are lightweight and sensitive enough for me to feel the structure I am fishing through. But most importantly for me, they have the backbone to get fish out. I throw into a lot of nasty slop and around a lot of docks and down timber, and with these rods I feel more in control of the fish then my lower price point rods from other makers. I use my 7' MH the most and the thing is a work horse. If your looking to step your game up with some serious gear, this is the rod to start with!

I was very excited to test this rod out for the first time of the year.I put some 12lb test on and my qauntum smoke I bought .I waited all winter to go out and use this rod.I had a good day of fishing and I was happy with the rod.I landed 12 bass rangeing from 1lb to 4lbs and it worked great.Didn't get snagged or nothing.I went out the next day and I PUT THE ROD BETWEEN MY LEGS AND GRABBED THE LINE TO TIE MY CRANK ON LIKE I DO TO EVER OTHER ROD I HAVE AND THE TIP OF MY ROD SNAPPED OFF .I do not no what to do all the hard work and money i had to do to get that rod was all just lost.I spend hundreds of dollars on abu garcia rod and reels and would like to keep on doing that if the qaulity will still be there.
