I bought the 6'9" ML spinning rod to drop shot with to replace and older, more expensive ($190), rod, that was starting to show it's age from 10 years of hard use. I was blown away the first day out with this rod. Could feel very light bites in 25+ feet of water, handled fish up to 4lbs excellent. And was a pleasure to fish with all day long paired with a Soron S20 spinning reel. I will be buying more.
I would recommend this to a friend!

i bought this rod (spinning version) and a Abu Garcia Cardinal Sx 40 and i love it!!!!! i just purchased a revo sx bait casting rod and i am for sure putting it on a Vendetta!!! great feel, very balanced, flex is great, also it feels like i can set the hook so much nicer with this rod than any other rod ive owned!!!!! highly recommend this rod to anyone looking for great quality!!! i am so hooked on all Abu Garcia gear! never want to buy any other rod or reel! ABU GARCIA FOR LIFE!!!!!!

I recently bought 7' med action rod and received a 6'6" med action as a gift. I've been really excited to test these to rods out. Went out today with the 6'6" med action rod paired with the Revo S reel to do some bass fishing. After a handful of cast with a Lucky Craft RC 2.5 I hooked up with a fish. I pulled the fish in within 5 yards and can see It was a northern pike about 30 inches - 36 inches in length. The fish was coming in easy and then it happened....the rod snapped!!! Fish took off, top half of the rod fell in the water, and good bye crank bait! Not happy at all!! Going to see how customer service is going to handle this. I am a long time Abu Garcia junkie. Have never had this issue with any of their products but I am out a new rod that was gift to me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

i bought this rod last week(8,17lb)..pair with blackmax2. .i fought with the giant snakehead(everage 25 lb..)firstly,very sad with the blackmax2 star drag...not funtion very well..the rod bend maximum..and i heard sound like something brake.. At home,i check it again and try bend it over very gentle..very sad the rod broke at 3rd ring.. Whatever it is,i still feel comfortable with this design.. Yesterday i bought another one. Lesson learned,its not for big fight...i have to handle with care after this...:-):-):-) abu garcia forever
