I purchased this rod last April as an extra rod for an FLW event. Within a month it had become my favorite. I loved the sensitivity and how light and balanced it was. On day 1 of my tournament the tip broke between the last 2 guides while bringing in a fish. Its nice to know they have 3 year warranties on them as Im sure I no longer have the receipt. Hoping a rep from Abu Garcia will reach out to me. Thanks

From what you have detailed here, it sounds as though the rod was nicked or damaged at some point ultimately causing the failure that you experienced. Broken rod

Dear Sir,
I am a customer from Malta and have purchased a vendetta rod last week . Yesterday I used it for the 3 rd tie and upon casting the rod broke just above the 2nd guide. The lure was 28 grms so it wasn't the case of a heavy load and neither was a jerk from a reel lock ..Is ther a defect with these models ?

best rod I have ever owned for price. I have a few gloomis rods that i paid three times the price. I feel stupid spending that much money after fishing these rods. If abu Garcia keeps making rods like this they a a lifetime customer here.. Try one you wont be dissapointed.

Bought a 6'6" medium power vendetta and I'm not very satisfied really wish I would have bought a 7' medium heavy just not what I was wanting. I did buy the 7' veritas and I love it best rod I've ever thrown caught a 9.7 lbs and a 8.5 lbs in a tournament last year and it handled like a dream!!!
