I bought this rod 6'6" MH spinning rod to pair up with the Orra s reel. Went fishing once and everything was fine and both performed well. Went for a week long fishing trip at Lake Powell and about the third day I tried to set the hook on a big striper and the rod snapped in two and one half is now laying in the bottom of the lake. I wouldn't buy again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Revo S and my new Vendetta 7' Med

Brand new Vendetta worked out perfect. Got it just in time too! This 3 1/2 lb LM Bass was caught at the Zoo ponds in Scottsbluff, Ne. People kept telling me there wasn't any bass in there but I caught 6 in 4 days. This was my biggest though. My Retirement (U.S. Navy) gift from wife and boys. Love this rod!

I've had my 7' MH rod now for 2 years and have used it maybe 6 times and the tip guide is broken. The rod tip is not broken it is only the guide that needs to be replaced as the eyelet bends very easy and it is a matter of time before it breaks off completly.

Folks, I received an email from Pure Fishing this morning asking me to call to get the above issue taken care of. They will be sending me a replacement rod and I should get it this week. Thank you Veronica! Great service.

On the first day of usage, my casting rod snapped at the ferrule end of the tip section during a cast. I had not even had a chance to catch a single fish on it. Aaargh!

Well in the past year I have added a bunch of abu garcia products to my arsenal of fishing rods/reels and the vendetta has been anything short of excellent!!! The strength of the rod and sensitivity is perfectly balanced, for a 7' rod its very light and can be easily fished all day....just a great rod for the money and their warranty is pretty good as well...thumbs up!
