This rod, paired with a Revo Inshore or a Curado does wonders from the salt to the sweeeet water of south texas. Capable of flinging big Mirrolure Top Dogs to 1/8 Oz jigs for skinny water redfish, this rod is capable of doing it all. The medium heavy came off to me as a bit stiff, but that is just the xtra fast tip doing its job. Perfect rod. Nuff said

I have used the Venetta 2 piece, 7', medium action rod for approximately 5 short fishing trips for largemouth bass.
It has great sensitivity, with suttle bites on wacky rigged worms felt. I have also used it for jerk baiting soft plastics.
It has a strong backbone. I have lost less fish on this rod, while fishing the same way with other rods. I would assume the rod gives a better hookset penetration in the fishes mouth.
I would recommend this rod and will probaly be buying a casting version of the Venetta rod in the near future.
