I purchased the spinning rod in light action to use as a drop shot rod. I chose this medium priced option as I was just learning the technique and didn't want to drop a lot of money on a top line rod just yet. I have been very pleased with the action of the rod and its durability. I would recommend the Vendetta to someone who is looking to test a certain type action or technique.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is one of the best rods i own and for the price it just cant be beat!! I have had 2 since last tear and have had no problems with use of about two days a week. Great Product!!

I usually fish the trinity river here in Texas for gator gars, 50+ pound catfish and everything in between, and let me tell you I was surprised at this rods strength and power! I would usually have to pull my salt water equipment out for this trip but the 7'6 vendetta did handle the job on 1) 35 pound gar, a 68 pound gar, and two 27 pound catfish. now these are freshwater rods, I can imagine the strength on them if Abu-Garcia introduced a vendetta salt water version; wow!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is an awesome rod i have two one pair with a Revo S and one spinning model for drop shotting.... They are super reliable rods and will not break on you when you get a fat donkey on. The 30 ton grafite is really sensitive... idk what better rod there is for $80
