i just purchased a vendetta 7'3" rod and this is the best rod out there for the money super sensitive and good backbone and very lite it is a joy to fish with.
I would recommend this to a friend!

i just got this rod about 3 days ago and its amazing i used it for muskie and bass amazing its the 7ft mh rod with 15lb test works good for bass and muskie cause with bass you wont lose it and muskie its braded line so it wont have the higher chances of braking when you have the fish of a life time on.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just recieved the venetta and put a abu silver max baitcaser on it i picked up the rod towards the end and it compleatly snapped in half
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for letting us know about the problem. Sometimes rods are damaged in shipping or at retail causing a break. We included a 3 year warranty on the Vendetta for just that reason. We will send you an email to ensure this was taken care of properly for you. Best regards- Abu Garcia

I bought the 6'6" M vendetta and put a Revo SX on it. I really liked it but after having for about a month it snapped a few inches from the tip. I could not be more angry and upset with it. Abu makes great reels but their rods are horrible. Stick with Powell and Shimano rods.

That is why the handle is on the other end of the rod. You're not supposed to pick them up from the wrong end.

I had the same thing happen to me. I was using the rod for the first time and it broke towards the handle.

Even though Garcia covered this under warranty!!! You should never pick a rod up by the tip, any rod would snap off!!!!!!!

I just purchased a 6'6" Vendetta today and rushed home to try it out at a local pond. Set it up with a Black Max reel, Man this rod is so sensitive I couldn't believe it, I felt stuff on the bottom while using a jig I had missed before. In fact it was so sensitive I became worried my jig would get stuck (it didn't). Definitely light weight, felt good in my hand, didn't catch any bass but that's OK, just wanted to try out rod today. But the bass better be on guard now I'll be back.
