I bought this pole about 5 months ago and use it almost everyday. I have really come to love an respect the Abu Garcia line of products, for being the bottom V line pole I find it very durable, sensitive to the slightest movement an the guides are super smooth especially with braided line. I've had the pole almost completely bent in half pulling a 4lber. through the Lilly's with no issue. Only con is the way the reel sits in the rod, when you screw the top over the reel it just doesn't seem to ever screw straight down its seems like Abu could have made it sit a little better other than that I would definitely recommend this to a friend and will always buy Abu Garcia products in the future.

I just bought this rod 3 days ago, today I went to retie a tangled line when...... the tip snapped off. This wasn't some kind of tug of war with the rod but i'm very surprised that it snapped so easily. I hope there's a warranty for this. $80 investment and poor quality doesn't go hand and hand.

got this 2 mounths ago from tackle wearhouse and it recenly broke at the very top, right at the bottom of the first eyelet. i hope the customer servaice and warrenty are as good as everyone says they are, i love abu garcia but and liked this rod, but i am still surprised it broke in 2 mounths.
The reel seat is a big problem it dose'nt seat flush when the reel is attached on your spinning rod models please check this out because it's the only reason that I won't purchase another product of this type from you Vengeance line of rods .
