I bought this rod during may 2010. After a full year of fishing here in Iowa i have no complaints about the rod. Everything seems very well put together and thought out. I took 1 point from durability because after hooking numerous lures to the hook keeper the keeper lost some of its black paint which is understandable. Fantastic rod with good sensitivity. Couldn't be happier with an incredible price! Abu's cheaper line of rods are always great, dating back to an old Conolon and also a Super 7. Fantastic! I own the 6'6 medium heavy casting rod.
The Vengeance spinning rod in the med 6'9" is the one I own. I use it for drop shot, wackey worming, and 3/8oz + walleye jigging. The Vengeance is light and sensitive. I can feel if a walleye breathes in my jig. This is another Great Abu Garcia product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The first Abu rod I owned was a super 7 spinning and it was the longest at casting I had owned.That made me decide to try this rod out 7' casting and it was great. I am know waiting for my Verdict to come in the mail.Thanks Abu Garcia for making superior rods and not charging an arm and a leg for them.
