I had a ugly stick rod but the feel when walleye fishing wasn't enough. I couldn't feel the light hits needed for walleyes. So i went to my local bait shop looking for a new rod. I was walking down the isle passing rods and i looked back and there was a few rods in the back. I picked it up and it was so light and i saw the price was easy on the wallet. I bought it and brought it fishing opening day for walleyes. I caught 3 walleyes two 17 inches and one 26 inches. it was great i use a shimano Sonora on it. its my now number one set up. so defiantly get one, Good luck!

I purchased this rod because last year I bought the Abu Garcia Hank Parker Signature Design combo but I recently broke my rod for that combo so I replaced the rod with the Vengence. So far I am more then impressed. It is probably the lightest rod I have ever held and it has a lot of backbone. I purchased the medium heavy 7' casting version. All of my line guides are placed correctly. The only complaint that I have is that the butt pad instead of being a soft rubber feel, it is a hard plastic. It is pretty annoying for me because of the way I set the hook it scratches my arm but other then that the rod is fantastic.
I finally broke my favorite spinnerbait rod that I've had for years. I'm the type that goes for the feel and action over style and popularity.Trying to find the right action that I wanted without breaking the bank has been tough. My buddy has been bragging about his Vengeance rod that he purchased a couple months ago. I borrowed his and I couldn't believe the action and sensitivity for the price and with the 3 year warranty it was a no brainier. I purchased the VNGC70-6 and now it's my new favorite spinnerbait rod. I now have rods from all the V Series and all of them are spot on, The rod description calls this rod Medium Heavy with a fast action, I call it Medium Heavy with medium fast action. P.S. Love the graphics!

I have three, two 6'6" and one 7' casting rod and I could not be more pleased. Great feel and response, Highly Recommended!!!!!!!!

Bought a 7' vengence rod and STX 20 ..went to lake Nottley in Northern Georgia last week. Using 10# line and this combo with a silver rattle trap I threw into a swarm of Strip Bass......I was just fishing for large mouth bass but when these bulls appeared I just threw in...Caught a 41 inch 35 pounder ...had the drag set to light and it was a battle .10 minutes later I was lucky to net this monster using this setup....it may be a record of sorts still checking it out....Thanks for a great rod and reel....
