This is a great real for fishing those long days. The light weight of the reel makes it easy to grind out all day tournaments and the retrieve is so smoothe that I catch myself checking to make sure that the spool is engaged. The cast control is great (I am teaching my 8yr old to cast with it), but I would like to be able to access the brakes without having to totally remove the sideplate.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I HAVE JUST PURCHASED TWO REVO PREMIERS. THEY ARE GREAT.LIGHT AND SMOOTH.I ALREADY HAD FOUR OTHER REVOS AND BECAUSE I LIKE THEM SO MUCH I AM CURRENTLY TRYING TO UPGRADE ALL OF MY REELS TO THE REVOS.YOU CAN BUY CHEAPER REELS, BUT YOU CANT BUY BETTER REELS. START WITH THE BEST AND DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON JUNK THAT WONT LAST.

These would be great reels if they would fix the problem with the spool bushing. Some reels develop a squeal when casting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
