I have had more reels in my hands than most people will in a lifetime and I always pick up my Premier first no matter what! Now don't get me wrong as I love all my Revo's but for the first cast I always use the Premier. I don't know if it is because of the lightweight, or the smoothness but it just has to start the day out for me first. The quality of the Revo series reels has this lifetime fisherman gut hooked and running for the net. In my opinion you can't go wrong with this or any Revo! So if you are shopping for a new reel give this reel a cast and it will become your favorite as mine has over and over!

I have used ABU Garcia reels since I was 10 years old. It has always been my reel of choice. As I have gotten older, mid 50's, arthritis has become a problem. So I decided to try the Rev premier. Well let me tell you it is th best reel ever made. Others immediately decided to copy the low gear profile and maybe they make some good ones, I do not know because I will never try them. Forget the way the reel helps the pain in my hands...it is the best casting, reeling reel on the planet!
Always the best and still the best!

I purchased a Premier last year and I must say that it is the best reel I own. Great product and holds up very well in all conditions. Recommend this to anyone who is serious about fishing

I bought the new Revo Spinning from Cabelas for a Christmas present, took the reel out of the box and it had a terrible grinding noise and was very rough to reel. Sent back to Cabelas for a refund, sent Abu Garcia an email but never heard anything back.

have found that whether choosing a rod or reel of this magnitude. to go to your local tackle shop first to see if you even like the equipment before mail ordering.
