This is a good solid reel that is as smooth as it gets the drag system is consistent and smooth all the way through its range and the retrieve is as good as it gets. Plus this reel handles spiderwire perfectly. The 6.6' combo was a great deal for the quality and boy does that rod have some backbone to it. It wont let you down.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've always been a fan of Abu Garcia products, and this reel is no exception.. I purchased this reel to use with a 7' M-F Vendetta rod. and the combo is great. The casting is smooth, and the distance is excellent for the type of fishing I do. I've paired it with a braid/fluorocarbon leader in 20lb test and had no problems. This is primarily for use with soft plastics, but I"m going get another SX to pair with this 7' Vendetta Rod to use with spinnerbaits/crankbaits and move the Orra-S for use dropshotting with another 6'9" ML-F rod.
got mine at walmart of all places.... paired with the vendeta rod love the feel its smooth and looks great with the rod...
I would recommend this to a friend!

Alwasy impressed by Abu Garcia. Last year I had a Cardinal 104 that landed me a 15.5lbs 36" King Salmon on the Pere Marquette River in Michigan. Upgraded to the Orra S 30 for this season of fishing. Great product, yet to see how big of a monster the Orra will land me. I will always swear by Abu Garcia with the great performance of their reels.
