I own many revo reels. They are the best baitcaster I have found by far. The only problem was they didnt make a slow geared revo for crankin. not a problem anymore. the winch is the perfect reel for cankin. I own one now but plan on getting a couple more. just a great reel

I've had the Revo Winch now for a little over two years, and it has become a staple in my bass fishing arsenal. I have it paired with a 7'2" MH Jig/Worm rod for use with jigs from 3/16-1/2oz, or 1/4oz Texas rigged worms . I pitch a lot of submerged timber, so a powerful reel is a must have to steer the bass out of cover. I have the reel spooled with 15lb fluoro, and this combination has turned out to be the best in the clear lakes here in North Georgia.
I wipe all of my reels down after a weekend of fishing, and put a drop of Rocket Fuel on all bearings atleast once a month. This reel still feels like I just took it out of the box.
The drag is amazing. I keep my drag tightened nearly all the down, and if the fish deserves a little wiggle room, I will loosen the drag during the fight. I have yet to have the drag slip on me, and I've caught stripers & hybrids (not by choice) up to 15lbs and the reel performed flawlessly.
If you need a dependable reel that will work when you need it, look no further - this is the end of the line.
The fish in the picture is a 7.5lb LM caught with a 1/4oz jig and the Revo.

I used the Winch for crank bait fishing all last season.
Performed perfectly. No issues at all.
I considered a Curado 200E5, but chose the ABU. It felt a little better to hand.

I've had my Winch for two seasons and it performs just like it did on day one. My cranking has improved with the low gear ratio. I'm not constantly concentrating on reeling slower like I had to with a faster ratio reel.
I was afraid casting would be an issue when going from heavy to light baits since it does not have all the bells and whistles for cast control-not the case at all. Just one simple adjustment and you can cast a mile with it.
The Winch also excells while pitching in heavy cover-I just need another one!
Want to bring up your crankin game? Buy a Revo Winch!
