I use this reel for crankbaiting and throwing topwater baits and it performs above and beyond everytime I use it. The drag and the low gear ratio ensure that it can handle anything in fresh water. I foul hooked a 25+ lb. carp and was able to reel him in like he was a bluegill. I highly recommend this reel to anyone who loves to throw crankbaits.

I HAVE HAD AREVO WINCH FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS NOW . THE LOW GEAR RATIO MAKES IT A GREAT CHOICE FOR CRANK BAITS,BUT WITH WITH 24 LBS OF DRAG YOU CANT BEAT IT FOR HEAVY COVER. GREAT REEL.

$200.00 is a lot of money for me to spend an a reel It took me a while to decide if I should buy a reel in this price range and which one to get. I finally decided to get the Revo winch and loved it so much I saved and bought a second one as soon as I could. The reel casts like a dream (even into the wind) and hauls in the fish effortlessly.I have no regrets about buying this reel and would buy another.

The Winch live up to the name WINCH! Pulls in the bass out of the nastiest stuff you can find time in with ease. Just like the winch on the front of my truck it will get you out of a mess and come back for more. There nothing bad with this reel.
